WARP BENCH
A collaboration with furniture designer Cameron Barnes weaving eucalyptus plant matter as material for the textiles and bench design. A natural bridge was discovered in the use of Eucalyptus leaves and red gum wood used in the construction of the custom bench, to produce botanical dyes for the accompanying handwoven textile of Warp bench.
WARP BENCH is an elegantly handcrafted red gum bench covered in hand-dyed woven textile made from natural yarns of mohair, felted wool, cotton, bamboo and merino wool. The weft is hand dyed from Red Gum off-cuts which gives a range of mint green to golden yellow tones.
